After losing patience and attempting to reposition, the deeply occluded updraft (now wrapped in some rain) finally produced a weak tornado. I believe Roger has a picture that is more of a zoomed image showing dust poofs beneath the funnel.

We spent ~20 minutes repositioning to a few miles N of Stinnett, during which time a brief tornado formed but was blocked from our view by traffic and the town. Here, we allowed the S side of the meso and wrapping rain/hail to pass overhead, when a small funnel was observed above us on the edge of the gust front. This shot shows the descending hail curtains to our SE.
